СИЛЛАБУС

Пререквизиты курса: Базовый иностранный язык уровень А1, А2, введение в специальности.

Постреквизиты курса: Обще профессиональный иностаранный язык, специально - профессиональный иностранный язык, практика

художественного перевода, практика письменного перевода, практика информативного перевода, практика устного перевода.

Краткое описание курса:

Этот курс предназначен для студентов специальности переводчик – референт.

Курс базового иностранного языка в сочетании с практической грамматикой и теоретическими дисциплинами специального языкового блока, предусмотренными учебным планом, призван обеспечить всестороннюю подготовку профессионального переводчика, предусматривающую сформированность у него лингвистической,

лингвострановедческой, коммуникативной и переводческой компетенций.

Цели и задачи курса:

Заложить основы коммуникативно-интеркультурной компетенции на основе четырех видов коммуникативной деятельности: аудирования, говорения, чтения и письма:

•В области говорения: овладеть подготовленной и неподготовленной диалогической и монологической речью.

•В области аудирования: сформировать умение слушать и понимать речь в исполнении носителей языка в звукозаписи, а также речь преподавателей и студентов.

•В области чтения: развивать у студентов технику чтения иноязычного текста, а также умения извлекать информацию из различных источников.

•В области письма и письменной речи: сформировать навыки графически, пунктационно и орфографически грамотного письма, овладеть продуктивной письменной речью в пределах языкового материала курса в соответствии с композиционно-коммуникативными типами речи и нормативными

требованиями изучаемого языка.

В результате изучения данной дисциплины в соответствии с

Государственным стандартом специальности 5В020700 – Переводческое дело студенты должны:

ЗНАТЬ:

•фонетический минимум: звуковой строй английского языка, особенности произношения английских гласных и согласных, чтение гласных в открытом и закрытом слогах, различие в артикуляционных базах английского и родного языков, интонация английских утвердительных, вопросительных,

восклицательных предложений.

•лексический минимум: словарный запас в 6000 лексических единиц

•грамматический минимум: основные грамматические формы и структуры английского языка, призванные обеспечить практическое овладение основами устного и письменного общения.

УМЕТЬ:

•слушать и понимать речь в исполнении носителей языка в звукозаписи, а также речь преподавателей и студентов

•владеть подготовленной и неподготовленной диалогической и монологической речью

•читать и извлекать информацию из различных источников ПРИОБРЕСТИ ПРАКТИЧЕСКИЕ НАВЫКИ

•реализации коммуникативного намерения и реагирования на высказывания партнера в соответствии с функциональными разновидностями диалога, сферой общения и речевой тематикой

•реализации коммуникативных намерений в виде описания или микроповествования

•развитие техники чтения иноязычного текста

•формирование навыков графически, пунктуационно и орфографически грамотного письма

Для освоения дисциплины Базовый основной иностранный язык студенты должны иметь теоретические и практические знания по дисциплинам средней общеобразовательной школы.

МЕТОДИЧЕСКИЕ УКАЗАНИЯ К СЕМИНАРСКИМ ЗАНЯТИЯМ Семинарские занятия по дисциплине «Базовый иностранный язык»

проводятся в составе академической группы студентов и должны быть обеспечены наглядными пособиями, методическими указаниями, необходимой учебной и информационно-справочной литературой.

Студентам рекомендуется выступать не с места, а перед всей аудиторией. Они должны научиться излагать мысли своими словами, а не заученными формулировками, строить выступление по заранее подготовленному плану.

Не рекомендуется прерывать выступающего студента или сопровождать его рассказ репликами одобрения или согласия. В порядке исключения целесообразно прерывать выступление в двух случаях: во- первых, когда ясно, что студент говорит не по существу, уходит в сторону от обсуждаемой проблемы; во-вторых, когда он допускает грубые ошибки.

Исправить ошибки в этих случаях можно либо с помощью студентов группы, либо самому преподавателю.

После выступления студента преподаватель должен спросить у присутствующих, есть ли вопросы к выступающему. В ходе творческой дискуссии преподаватель не должен преждевременно высказывать свое мнение, так как это подавит инициативу студентов и по существу прекратит обсуждение проблемы. Свое мнение преподаватель высказывает в заключительном слове.

Практические (семинарские) занятия следует организовывать так, чтобы студенты постоянно ощущали рост сложности выполняемых заданий, испытывали положительные эмоции от переживания собственного успеха в учении, были заняты напряженной творческой работой, поисками правильных и точных решений.

Неуверенным в себе, некоммуникабельным студентам должны предлагаться частные, облегченные вопросы, дающие возможность выступления и испытания психологического ощущения успеха.

Давать оценку ответам студентов следует с определенным педагогическим тактом, уважением к их личности и достоинству. Это не исключает строгости, требовательности, однако не допускает резкости, грубости, разноса или высмеивания.

Семинар (от латинского seminarium «рассадник»; переноси, «школа») - это особая форма учебно-теоретических занятий, которая, как правило, служит дополнением к лекционному курсу. Семинар обычно посвящен

детальному изучению отдельной темы и, в отличие от лекции, проводится в каждой студенческой группе отдельно. Целью семинарского занятия является углубление и конкретизация знаний, развитие навыков самостоятельного подхода к сложным вопросам, умение оценивать и анализировать новые данные науки и практики.. На семинарском занятии контроль за работой студента осуществляется преподавателем.

Отличительной особенностью семинара как формы учебных занятий является активное участие самих студентов в обсуждении поставленных проблем, вопросов. Такая учебная цель семинара требует, чтобы учащиеся были хорошо подготовлены к нему. В противном случае семинар не будет действенным и может превратиться в скучный обмен вопросами и ответами между преподавателем и студентами.

Семинары могут быть различными как по содержанию, так и по построению, организации работы. Обычно на семинарах обсуждаются заранее поставленные вопросы. Студенты заблаговременно знакомятся с планом семинарского занятия и литературой, рекомендованной для изучения данной темы, чтобы иметь возможность подготовиться к семинару.

Иногда семинары проводятся в форме обсуждения небольших докладов или рефератов учащихся. Но это не означает, что к семинару должны готовится только те студенты, которые делают сообщение. Чтобы активно обсуждать проблему, высказывать свою точку зрения, обмениваться мнениями, наконец, спорить в поисках истины - а это и есть главное назначение семинара - готовится к нему должнывсе.

Практические советы для студентов:

1. Проанализируйте тему семинара, подумайте о цели и основных проблемах, вынесенных на обсуждение.

2. Внимательно прочитайте материал, данный преподавателем по этой теме на лекции.

3. Изучайте рекомендованную литературу, делая при этом конспекты прочитанного или выписки, которые понадо бятся при обсуждении на семинаре.

4. Постарайтесь сформулировать свое мнение но каждому вопросу и аргументировано его обосновать. Запишите возникшие во время самостоятельной работыс учебниками и научной литературой вопросы, чтобы затем на семинаре получить на них ответ.

5. Внимательно слушайте выступления других участников семинара, старайтесь соотнести, сопоставить их высказывания со своим мнением.

6. Активно участвуйте в обсуждении рассматриваемых вопросов, не бойтесь высказывать свое мнение, но старайтесь, чтобы оно было подкреплено убедительными доводами.

7. Если вы не согласны с чьим-то мнением, смело критикуйте его,

но помните, что критика должна быть обоснованной и конструктивной, т.е. нести в себе какое-токонкретное предложение в качестве альтернативы.

Семинар помогает студентам глубоко овладеть

предметом,способствует развитию у них умения самостоятельно работать с учебной литературой и первоисточниками, освоению ими методов научнойработы и приобретению навыков научной аргументации, научного мышления. Преподавателю же работа студента на семинаре позволяет судить о том, насколько успешно и с каким желанием оносваивает материал курса.

Практическое занятие — это одна из форм учебной работы, которая ориентирована на закрепление изученного теоретического материала, на его более глубокое усвоение иформирование умения применять теоретические знания в практических, прикладных целях. Особое внимание на практических занятиях уделяется выработке учебных или профессиональных навыков. Такие навыки формируются в процессе выполнения конкретных задач под руководством и контролем преподавателя.

Готовясь к практическому занятию, тема которого всегда заранее известна, студент должен освежить в памяти теоретические сведения, полученные на лекциях ив процессе самостоятельной работы, подобрать необходимую учебную исправочную литературу. Только это обеспечить высокую эффективность практических учебных занятий.

Разновидностью практических занятий является тренинг, который представляет собой систему регулярных упражнений, направленных на развитие и совершенствование определенных навыков. Такая форма учебных занятий используется при обучении по специальностям, требующим не только теоретических знаний, но и хорошего владения какими-либо практическими видами деятельности.

Meals

There are four meals a day in an English home: breakfast, lunch, tea, and dinner.

Breakfast is the first meal of the day. It is at about 8 o'clock in the morning, and consists of porridge with milk and salt or sugar, eggs – boiled or fried, bread and butter with marmalade or jam. Some people like to drink tea, but others prefer coffee. Instead of porridge they may have fruit juice, or they may prefer biscuits.

The usual time for lunch is 1 o'clock. This meal starts with soup or fruit juice. Then follows some meat or poultry with potatoes – boiled or fried, carrots and beans.

Then a pudding comes. Instead of the pudding they may prefer cheese and biscuits.
